    Aloha everyone, I travel Wednesday too, but as I come all the way from the middle of the Pacific, my flight land at 11:52pm!

    Maybe we should divide ourselves into groups according to hours of arrival (say in one or one and a half hour increments), collect the names, and one of us will contact the shuttle service and reserve a van?
    From what I see there are quite a few arriving between 3pm to 4pm (myself included). Those coming at this time can contact me at michalrr@post.tau.ac.il and then we'll figure out how to book.

    Hi All,
    I sent a letter to the shuttle service with the names of five people (myself included) to ask about shuttle possibilities and rates. This is the answer I got:
    Hi,

    The cost of a private van to UNT would be $129.80 including gratuity for up
    to 10 passengers.

    The shared ride shuttle (will make other stops) would be $54 for the 1st
    passenger and $9 for each additional passenger. There is also a $1 fuel
    surcharge per passenger for the shared shuttle.

    All passengers must be picked up at the same location to receive these
    rates, so you may have to have a central meeting spot in the airport if
    arriving on different airlines.

    That must be the same flight. I have also been contacted by someone else on that flight. Then there is Nicholas and Kandace who are fairly close arrival times. That makes 5 of us. I would be happy to meet with you all somewhere to pick up the shuttle.

    Michal's research gives us some ideas, I guess.

    If people send me there email addresses then perhaps we can book the taxi (lewind@hope.ac.uk)

    Hey,

    I've been at DFW once (well, twice), and I believe terminal D is where most of the international traffic happens. Inside this terminal (after customs and baggage reclaim), there's a little waiting area and a news kiosk called Southwest News. This might be a good meeting point. There's a terminal link bus connecting the terminals outside security free of charge.

    The tricky thing with meeting up with people on several flights, is that it seems Supershuttle wants to know your flight number. The obvious strategy is that the flight expected to arrive last is communicated to supershuttle, but I've got no idea how dependable arrival times are, and how flexible the taxi service is...

    Hi Michal and other 3-4pm people,

    I wonder if maybe going with the private van option would give us a bit more flexibility in terms of time, since it would be only our group?

    My flight arrives at 3:55pm, so I might arrive last in our group. So if you would like to give my flight number, it is American Airlines flight 1413.

    Hi All
    My problem is that I will be arriving on a domestic flight, which means I dont know in which terminal I will land. This might confuse matters even more.
    I'll try to call the shuttle service and see which would be best - either each person books his/her own shuttle or we hire a car at around 16:00 for the five or six of us that are arriving between 15:00-16:00. I'll post what I learn. bye

    Hi - me again..
    I spoke to Supershuttle in Dallas. Prearranging a car doesnt seem like an option so I guess the best bet is to meet at the Southwest news kiosk in Terminal D as Robert-Jan suggested. Does meeting between 16:15-16:30 sound reasonable (I myself will be arriving from Terminal A)?
    This, from what I've gathered, is the 15:00-16:00 group:
    Yoni, Christian, Federica, Heather and myself.

    Michal, that sounds good. Since my flight arrives at 15:55 I will probably be getting there closer to 16:30, but I'll get there as soon as I can!
